Fishing in Brassø

Brassø is part of the Silkeborg Lakes, through which the Gudenå River also flows. The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities where you can catch pike, perch and bream. As the lake is surrounded by forest, it is most convenient to fish from a boat.

Brassø - Scenic fishing paradise in the south of Silkeborg

Brassø, located in the southern part of Silkeborg, forms an important part of the Silkeborg Lakes, which are characterised by the Gudenåen river, which connects Brassø with Silkeborg Langsø via Remstrup å.

With a length of approximately 2.5 km and a width of around 0.4 km, and an impressive maximum depth of approximately 14 metres, Brassø is almost completely surrounded by lush forest. In the summer, the lake is a favourite sailing spot, and for anglers it is most convenient to fish from a boat as the lake's shoreline is difficult to reach.

In this scenic water environment you can catch a wide variety of fish, including pike, perch, zander, lake trout, shells and bream.

Brassø is a true paradise for anglers looking for an unforgettable fishing experience in beautiful surroundings.
